Shari Franey, CSP, is the President/Owner of The Performance Group, which is a full service Human Resource Solutions provider. The Performance Group was founded in 1993, has reached revenue of $26 million dollars and is comprised of more than 50 talented staff. Shari has grown the company into several divisions including: a regional managed staffing division, a national Human Resource Outsource Division, a translation division, and Healthcare Network, a global healthcare consulting division.

Shari strongly believes in giving back, and has demonstrated this through her involvement in industry and community boards. She served 6 years as President for Pennsylvania Staffing Association, and she currently served on the executive councils for Lancaster Chamber of Commerce and United Disabilities Board of Directors, as well as, on the President's Advisory Board of Messiah College, her Alma Mater.

In addition to graduating from Messiah College, Shari also graduated from MIT's program, Birthing of Giants. She has been recognized as being one of the 50 Best Business Women in Pennsylvania and a finalist in Ernest and Young's, Entrepreneur of the Year.

 

Ira Shapiro, is the Divisional President of Healthcare Network. Mr. Shapiro is a national expert in helping companies hire "A" players. Since 1989, he has been an innovator in executive recruiting, developing a unique and personalized approach, which emphasizes the importance of assisting healthcare organizations in making the best hiring decisions. His retention rate of candidates placed and functioning as “A” players over the past 10 years has been among the highest in the search industry at a rate of over 95%.

Mr. Shapiro has an excellent track record in successfully organizing many large scale hiring initiatives and conducting searches for flagship positions in healthcare. Mr. Shapiro has built senior management teams and departments for Pharmaceutical companies, Biotechnology companies, Managed Care, Insurance, Health Services, Hospitals, integrated delivery systems, ambulatory care, home health care, healthcare technology companies and municipalities. He has excelled in the recruitment of Medical Leadership, Regulatory and Clinical talent for the Life Sciences sector.

His search work has been international in scope and has helped foreign companies expand their staff into the US market place. He is frequently called upon to utilize his expertise in helping companies with internal talent evaluation, hiring strategies, interview training, and the re-engineering of their hiring process. Mr. Shapiro was the founder and CEO of national search firm created in the early 1990's and has been recognized by a few of the national health organizations as a "best practices" search professional.

 

Dr. Charles N. Aswad, MD, our Chief Medical Advisor, has over 40 years as a leader and innovator in the Healthcare industry. He is the Executive Vice President Emeritus of the Medical Society of the State of New York. In addition, Dr. Aswad serves on both the Medical and Dental advisory boards for Henry Schein and is the Chair of the Medical advisory board for Cerebrio, LLC, an Omnicom company.

Dr. Aswad served as president of the Medical Society in 1991-1992. He has been the Speaker of the American Academy of Family Physicians, has served as Chairman of the American Medical Association’s Task Force on the Medical Workforce and was a member of the AMA’s Council on Long Range Planning and Development. Dr. Aswad has also served as a member of the AMA’s Health Policy Agenda for the American People and as an AMA Delegate from New York State.

Dr. Aswad was appointed by the New York State Commissioner of Health to the Council on Graduate Medical Education where he is Chairman of the Subcommittee on minority Participation in GME. Dr. Aswad was also appointed to serve on the Commission for a Healthy New York.

A practicing physician and academician, Dr. Aswad is formerly Chairman of the Department of Emergency Medicine at United Health Service Hospitals in Binghamton, New York and at Our Lady of Lourdes Memorial Hospital in Binghamton. He is currently Assistant Clinical Professor of Family Medicine at the SUNY Health Science Center at Syracuse.

Dr. Aswad is a Graduate of the State university of New York at Binghamton – Harper College and New York Medical College. Dr. Aswad holds the Gold Medal of Distinction as Outstanding Alumnus for the New York Medical College. He is a Charter Fellow of both the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American College of Emergency Physicians.

 

Angela Lee, is a Senior Consultant for Healthcare Network.  She is an executive search and recruiting professional with over eight years experience in both consulting and corporate environments.  Mrs. Lee has search experience developed across multiple functions for companies in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, chemical, and medical device industries.  Mrs. Lee is experienced at developing search strategies for Presidents and human resource executives at Fortune 500 and Global 1000 corporations for executive, general management and functional management positions.

Mrs. Lee has extensive experience in full-cycle recruiting management that includes sourcing, screening/assessment, behavioral interviewing, pre-employment, offer negotiation, hiring and EEO policies and procedures.  She has successfully mastered high-volume recruiting strategies, while consistently achieving above-average hiring goals over 75 hires per quarter with an average time-to-fill at 25 days or less.  Mrs. Lee has recruiting experience partnering with Top 25 undergraduate and MBA colleges and universities, advancing company brand, researching and reporting on market data and overall recruiting metrics.

Mrs. Lee is an active member in the Philadelphia Chapter of the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association and a former member of Toastmaster’s International in the Lower Bucks Club #8892.

 

Natasha Dorazio, is the Assistant Vice President for The Performance Group and has worked there since 1994. During the last 16 years, she has managed offices, worked in Business Development and managed large accounts. She also serves as the Spanish, English and Diversity Trainer. In this capacity, she has instructed over 500 people in workplace Spanish and English. She also assisted in obtaining ISO9002 certification for a Lancaster County manufacturer by verbally translating procedures. Natasha has a degree from Gettysburg College, The Center for Cross-Cultural Study, Seville, Spain, and certification in Employment Law.

 

Anne McCaulley, R.N., is the Nurse Risk Manager for The Performance Group and Healthcare Network. Ms. McCaulley is responsible for Medical Case Management and Workers Compensation Programs. Her systematic approach to case management has proven results in the reduction of unnecessary liability, while increasing employee health and safety standards. She assists clients with their safety and health needs such as medical monitoring programs, Workers Compensation case management, and workplace safety. Additional responsibilities include the assessment of barriers to wellness and development of care plans through individual measurable goals, and the direct implementation of care plans through education and medical service needs.

Ms. McCaulley serves as the Chairperson for The Performance Group’s certified safety committee. She has worked as a Registered Nurse in industrial settings for over 16 years, with an additional 8 years of experience in clinical settings. Ms. McCaulley received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Villanova University.
